Lucky 7 Ranch

Not many of my siblings were able to make it to the reunion. Only 5 out of 9 kids were able to be there. It was quiet and relaxing, a much needed break from life.
The ranch was a big hit with both of the girls. Edie was so good and even slept through the night for the first time in her life. Lillie loved every second, she was even brave enough to get on the four wheeler with Chase. She loved all of the different animals, especially the horses. She was terrified of them last year, it surprised me how much she loved them this year.

Every chance she got, she wanted to go pet the horses.

We went on a drive around the ranch to see all of the animals. She got to see the cows, horses and the bison. She was so excited about the drive, mostly to be out of her car seat and stand at the front to look out the window. She wanted to get out and see the animals closer than we were. She loved it. Every second. It was the highlight of my trip, seeing the joy in her face was my favorite.

Uncle Neil brought their horses in for the kids to ride. The night before they did rides, they were in they stalls, and Neil said she could sit on them and pet them. She was so happy, and I knew she was going to be a big fan of the rides. That night I opened her window so she could watch the horses as she fell asleep. i think the horse rides were the highlight of her trip. She loved it. She didn't want to get down. I think she went around that round pen 20 times.

That smile says it all.

A quick ride with Daddy. Right when she got off, she wanted back on.

We went fishing a few times while there too. We didn't catch anything but Leo and Tyler did multiple times.

The horses again, because she just couldn't stop. Obsessed.

Our Edie Sweetie is getting so big! She loves to eat, when she finishes her food, she goes around the table and finishes everyone else...
