Edie

Our Edie Sweetie is getting so big! She loves to eat, when she finishes her food, she goes around the table and finishes everyone else's. She has the best faces, and makes us laugh constantly. Her favorite time is bath time or snack time. She only says, "Thank you", "mom", "mo" (more), "out" and "go".

Corona Crazy

Walks all day every day. Today we went to the church, like most days so Lillie can practice riding her peddle bike in the parking lot. Did I mention Lillie now rides a peddle bike? It took her about 30 minutes to learn, and now she's a champ. 

Also sunglasses are a must, Edie never takes hers off. It's kind of impressive.

A Day in the Life of Lil and E

First a walk to see the horses. Every single day, while picking wild flowers along the way.

Then we try to get the horse to neigh and get closer for a better look. 

Home with our flower stash.

And we took Zeke. Am I crazy? Probably.

A cut on the face, because it wouldn't be an adventure without an injury.

Then an outfit change and a show...notice Lillies hand scratching Edie's back. The sweetest.

Then a drive to a some place new, usually a dog friendly park, the temple or just around to see different animals. 

Then back outside again for some chalk and a bike ride.

We Built a House

A card board house to be exact. We went up to Chase's work and picked up all of his extra TV boxes, took them home, colored them and built a house. They've been playing in it for days. It takes up most of our living room. We'll see how long it lasts haha, I might bet getting sick of it already, but they definitely aren't. Anything to keep us entertained right now. 

We even brought their kitchen down, I might be crazy, or just a really cool mom.

Then a movie and popcorn, and a dance party to end the day before Dad gets home for dinner. We can never have a dance party without an outfit change though, dresses required.

Sister Facetime

We're all going a little crazy I think, because we did a sister FaceTime for the first time ever. It was fun to talk to all of my sisters and pretend we're not in this crazy pandemic stuck at home. We ended out talking so long, I took the girls on a walk while staying on the phone. 

Edie took her favorite book, she takes it everywhere. She's obsessed. 

Pen Pals

 

We miss seeing out friends, especially Ruthie. Yesterday she got a letter from Ruthie in the mail, so I guess that makes them pen pals. She wanted to write back right away.

She wrote Ruthie's name, her name and I Love You all by herself while I spelled it out for her.

After we dropped it off we enjoyed a popsicle on the stairs, because when it's still cold outside, there are no other options.

Walk, dance, and play

We got on a walk most morning to get out of the house lately, who would have thought that coming home after St. George there would be such a crazy change in out lives. A pandemic hit, Covid -19. It started in China, and has quickly made it's way here and everywhere else. Everything is lockdown, when you go out masks are required, and no groups larger than 10 can gather. Let's just say with church canceled, friend and family not visiting, and not grocery or library trips, we're going insane, so every day we take a walk. It helps. 

Dance class has been canceled for a few weeks now, so online dance class it is. She misses her friends, especially her cousin Ruby.

At least they have each other.

She crawled across the hot stove, thank goodness it wasn't worse.
