We had to get out of the house, and without two cars that can be difficult at times. We aren't too far away from most things, but in the dead of summer, walking isn't ideal. Today we sucked it up and went for a walk to the library. The last time we walked there it took 45 minutes, and we ended up calling Chase to pick us up on his way home from work. We found a new round this time that only took 25 minutes, and luckily it wasn't too hot.
Edie loves her big sis. Always watching her.
After we found some books, Lillie played in the kitchen (her favorite part), colored on the iPads, and played trains, we headed to the park right outside of the library to eat our lunch we packed with us.
It did't take long for Lillie to start crying that the slides were too hot to slide down, so we decided to head home.
It was a good little adventure with my buddies.
