Edith was blessed on January 6th, 2019. It's the first Sunday of the "Come, Follow Me" program, where church is only 2 hours. It was a pretty significant day that she was blessed on, a huge change in the Church.
Chase was able to give her a name and a blessing. I'm so incredibly grateful for him and his desire to honorable hold the priesthood.
He blessed her to know that she is a child of God, and he loves her. That she would have a desire to search and study the scriptures, and to share the gospel with others. She was blessed with the power to know and have a greater understanding of people, and empathize with them.
(I can't remember the exact words).
After the blessing, Chase told me that part stood out to him the most.
She was also blessed, that when the time comes, she will be sealed in the temple to a worthy man.
I was also able to bare my testimony after, I needed to tell everyone how grateful I was to have this little family of mine for eternity, because I couldn't imagine eternity without them.
Right after our meeting, we rushed out of our ward to head to my parents ward where Wes would be blessed.
Sharing these significant events with Kimberly, is the best (and our babies couldn't look more different haha).
We then met our families for a luncheon afterwards, at my parents.
And if you couldn't tell already, Lillie adores her "baby sipper" and "baby Wes".
