Christmas Eve 2017

Christmas Eve was a Sunday, so we got up and ready for Church, Lillie didn’t take a nap this time, so she was a little emotional, but Christmas Sunday is always my favorite!
The primary kids did….alright haha. They did amazing on the first verse, a little worse on the second verse, and you could barely hear them on the last verse of Joseph Went to Bethlehem haha. Then we were supposed to sing the first verse of Joy to the World, and I was holding up pictures for them, when they fell into the pue in front of us (face palm). I looked up at the kids and they started laughing, and I about died, but laughed with them, and kept going.
Then people went up, would say their favorite song, and we’d sing it as a congregation. The spirit filled the room, and Chase got emotional, it was so touching.
We got home, put Lillie to bed, and finished getting ready for Christmas Eve dinner that started at 5:00. Then we headed to my parents a little early, and chatted. Karalee, Benje, Derrick, Jenn, Emily, Paul, Kim and Caleb, and my parents were there. Not the whole fam, but a good amount. After dinner we played games until almost midnight, after putting Lillie to bed at 7. We decided to not go home and open presents at our house, but instead Chase and I ran to grab some stuff and come back to open presents with my family in the morning. So Chase and I went to our house to grab gifts and over night essentials. Then we drive back at 1:00 am, to put the gifts under the tree, since dad went to bed sick, and couldn’t do it this year.
Then we headed to bed, anticipating the morning.
