Christmas 2017

Making breakfast on Christmas morning in the Craven household is kind of unheard of. We grew up with the tradition of eating leftover pie in the morning after we opened presents, so this was kind of a big deal.

That little tired face is my favorite.
Eating her favorite food, scrambled eggs. She eats that amount almost every morning. This girls loves to eat.

Opening her first gift, you guessed it magformers, and they came out of the box almost immediately. Success.

Although last year was fun with a new little spirit in our home, this year was a little more exciting with a one year old. She was able to unwrap her own presents (magformers and makeup, simple and easy), and her excitement was the best.

Exactly what she wanted, you can tell by the face.

This girl sits on the counter every morning while I put on my makeup and get ready for the day. She often steals my brushes and puts her own "makeup" on, so we decided to get her a pretend makeup set. She still loves it, to this day.

Chase and I woke up to Lillie talking, so we grabbed her and went downstairs to join Paul, Emily and Audrey. Lillie didn’t know what to think about everything at first. We handed her, her stocking, she grabbed the top thing (mini Oreos) and went straight to her grandma to open them. Emily made some French toast for everyone and we started opening presents. Lillie was apprehensive at first, but got the hang of opening presents. She opened her magnaformers first and then her makeup. She was so excited and happy about both of them, that she didn’t want any other presents after that, just to play with the two she had. I was grateful that we only got her those two toys and the rest were clothes, because she was perfectly content with just that.
