It was our Edith Sweetith's Birthday today. I can't believe she's already one and Christmas is just a few weeks away. I swear her first year went even faster than Lillie's.
A few things about Edie:
Edie still isn't walking quite yet, or even standing for that matter haha. She's stubborn, but I have a feeling when she decides to, she's going to be a champ.
She loves food, and can out eat anyone in our family.
Screaming is her favorite pass time, that chick has lungs!
Swinging is her favorite thing, she giggles the entire time!
She loves zeke, and gets excited when she sees him in the morning.
She wants to be just like her big sister, if Lillie does it, she thinks she can.
She's terrified of umbrellas.
And her favorite place in the house is t he kitchen, and you can almost always find her in Zeke's crate if she's missing.
She loves hide and seek!
If she's awake before her sister, she go straight to her room and start yelling, "mom!" because she's pretty much her second mom.
We opened presents in the morning, so she could play with them all day, instead of going to bed after just opening them. Lillie was more than happy to help.
Then we went on an adventure to Gardner Village. The only bummer about having a birthday in December is not being able to get out, but we made due and it was nice to get out of the house for a little bit. We walked around finding elves, and then went into a few different stores before heading home again.
We had breakfast for dinner, because it's her favorite meal of the day, and lemon glazed pound cake with whipped cream and raspberries, because she loves fruit, especially berries. After her cake, Kim and Caleb came over, the kids went to bed and we continued to celebrate by playing Over Cooked on the Switch.
