Today we went shopping for our traditional ornament making night, when we got home we put Edie down for a nap, and went outside to look for pinecones to use as well. When we got back inside, Lillie insisted that they was for a campfire (the last campfire we did was with the Jensen crew, and her and her cousins went looking for pinecones and threw them in the fire all night long.) I decided to try and be a fun mom, so we put the pinecones around a candle and roasted marshmallows, sweet memories with my girl.
She was very excited about it.
Edie did a quick painting for her elf ornament, and then went to bed. The rest of us stayed up and put our pinecones to good use.
