Park Days

I feel like we're always at the park or taking a walk these days. It gets really hot, really fast, so it usually doesn't last long, but it's good to get our for a little bit. 

These girls love to swing, if I could let them swing all day, they would. 

When it got too hot I suggested we get some popsicles. Lillie is getting so big and independent, and to help her grow with confidence I give her little tasks to do. Today's task was a little bigger than usual, and she surprised me when she accomplished it without a hitch. I told her to go get each of us a popsicle. She ran off of the play ground, across the field, opened the door, ran inside and came back with her hands full of popsicles, so proud of herself running across the field toward us with a big smile on her face. I was proud of her too. I cannot believe how big she has gotten.

Edie's first popsicle and she loved it. I haven't found anything this girl doesn't like. Lillie didn't love the texture of ground up sweet potatoes or the top of broccoli, this girl? She's eat anything and everything if you let her.
