Today was Everett's baptism in Fairview. It was the sweetest baptism I've every been to. You could feel Wyatt in that room. Especially when Everett was receiving the Holy Ghost, I'm pretty sure there wasn't one dry eye in that room as Michael ended in the Saviors name. It was a powerful experience that I hope to never forget.
We got together at Michael and Chrissy's house afterward. Cousins played, and adults talked. It was so good to be with family, and spend some much needed time together.
As we were driving home, we got about 15 minutes our of town, when Chase mentioned that we should have gone to visit Wyatt. We are rarely down there, so we decided to turn around and go see him.
It's incredibly hard to even write this post, I miss that kid so much. I'm grateful for all of the reminders of him. Not a day goes by that Lillie doesn't as to see her cousin Wyatt on Marco Polo, and she would sit there for hours, if I would let her, just going through the ones with him in them.
As we left the grave, I couldn't get the words I wanted to say out, without crying. It's hard to lose a loved one, but knowing that I'll see him again helps. He is missed, and always will be, until we see him again.
As we were heading to the car to leave, Derrick and Jennifer pulled up to see him as well. Grateful for all of my family members, and the love we have for one another.
Ruby and Lillie, SLOWLY becoming best friends.
You can see Wyatt's grave from Mike and Chrissy's house, which is pretty amazing, and such a blessing.
The best of friends. Lillie can't get enough of her cousins. She adores every one of them.
We picked up a tent trailer from Chase's aunts and uncles, and as we were parking it next to our house, Edie was so sad, and Lillie wanted to give her loves. I unbuckled her and handed her to Lillie, and she immediately stopped. I love that they love each other so much already.
Home and ready to finish our garden!
