Theater Room

We came home from St. George to being quarantined because of Covid-19...it's taking its toll on all of us and it's only been a week. Luckily Chase only has a few residents at his apartment complex, so we were able to take over the theater room for the day. Edie ran around and ate snacks, while Lillie watched Tangled. They got a little crazy, but it was good to get out and do something different today.

Tea Party

Today we had a tea party, Lillie and Edie got all dressed up. We had little sandwiches, a veggies tray, and mini muffins. I can't believe my girls are old enough to do tea parties with. I love my girls.

We made a ball run today on the wall. The entertainment lasted for about 15 minutes, maybe less. I expected them to spend hours playing with it, but apparently it wasn't their cup of tea. After the ball run, we decided to do a popsicle/sucker bathing then we finally got ready for the day.

It was a good quarantine day, hopefully this doesn't last forever. Lillie tells me everyday she misses her friends. We'll see when she gets to play with them again.

Sunday, March 15, 2020

It was our first Sunday at home during the Covid-19 pandemic. All church functions have been canceled until further notice.

It was a hard day for me. Sundays are my day off, where I get to be rejuvenated for the rest of the week. Chase has a meeting with the bishopric later in the day, and came home to tell us he got permission to pass the sacrament in our own home. What a difference the sacrament made. The spirit immediately filled out home, and I couldn't help but get teary eyed. I've very grateful for a husband that holds the priesthood and is able to bless the sacrament for us. We are so very blessed.

Mary Poppins

Kim and I came back for another trip in St. George to see Tessie in the play "Mary Poppins", she did great and I was so proud of her.

We spent the rest of the week trading off with foot massages and playing Luigis mansions. It's always so fun to spent some time with family away from home. I miss them already.

I got to go help Tyler feed the horses. I swear that kid can convince me to do anything.

I came back from the play, and Emma said the girls were having a hard time, so she put them in the same bed. I went down to check on them, and Edie was wide awake just laying by Lillie on the mattress on the floor. It was the sweetest thing. She hadn't tried to get up, she just wanted to be there for Lil. My mama heart could just burst.

Sunday Cooking

She's my best and messiest little helper. She's been obsessed with these glasses, even insisting on wearing them to church. She's hilarious adorable. I love this girl with all of my heart.

We head out to St. George tomorrow, and I don't think any of us are more excited than this girl.

Saturday's without Dad

I love that they sit on the ottoman together to watch shows, it's my favorite.

Chase still has to work Saturdays, so we're trying  to fill our days with more fun things and things to help the days go by a little faster.

We got my roll of pattern paper out and did some art today. Complete with stickers, markers, and crayons. We had fun. I love watching them grow, especially since Lillie has gotten to the age where she loves to write things, and now she's drawing people too.

Edie

Our Edie Sweetie is getting so big! She loves to eat, when she finishes her food, she goes around the table and finishes everyone else...
